Navigating Grief Workbook
Exercises for Better Managing Bereavement

In the first few months following my wife’s death, I read several books about grief. Not satisfied with the progress I was making I decided to double down on my efforts to learn more. It wasn’t long into this second wave of effort that I realized I could learn everything there was to know about grief and still not heal. The vast difference between knowledge and wisdom became clear to me. Until I took action aligned with what I was learning I would never gain wisdom, and it is only in wisdom where healing and transformation are found, not in knowledge alone.
I designed the exercises in this workbook to help me bridge the gap between knowledge and wisdom because I didn't just want to know how to heal, I wanted to actually heal. Doing the exercises took me on a journey that was often painful and required soul-searching and unfiltered honesty. Having done them myself, I know the exercises in this workbook will move your forward in your journey to healing.
